LIVING IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD

Praise Jesus, The son of the Living God!

AM called Medard Mbamanyire and i accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 1993 and since then, i have been a born again Christian. It has always been an exciting journey for me because the Lord has been revealing himself to me in various ways and I came to understand there is a practical difference between good and evil.I have come to a time where i came to understand that with a deeper relationship in Jesus Christ you will get the instructions for life and Christianity as a life style will be always an enjoyable lifestyle with clear direction on how to handle every issue in life to the glory of God and with assurance that God through his son Jesus Christ has given us an opportunity to avoid sin, escape and have power over evil and live a triumphant life to his Glory.
I have also over time learned that the key in achieving this requires determination to maintain an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit whom God gives freely to all those who have believed in His only son Jesus Christ. To This experience therefore, i will share various Christian Experiences that i have encountered in life and how by God's Grace i have had to each time react and determine to live alife that is pleasing to Christ. I will be able to share on my experiences as a student, Minister of the Gospel, Government employee, Lecturer, Administrator, Head of Family and Pastor.
In all these situations i have been able to distinguish ministry from works, Ministry and survival, Descipleship, Break through and Revival and taking areas for Christ. The experiences above have been practical on my part and for some of them am still on a learning process but what i can say for now is that to be an effective minister, one has to get God's Direction and understanding of the above issues in line with the great commission. One should learn how to use each opportunity to advance the cause of the great commission. It is only the set apart for God who can easily withstand challenges of a practical christian Life style!
For now i have to conclude by emphasizing the fact that Christianity is a life style to live and that in times of Challenges to it, only the set apart for God can live triumphantly to the Glory of God! Cultivating an intimate relationship with the Holy spirit over time should be a priority of every Christian and that even in a secular environment there is always an opportunity to triumph and glorify Christ!
